Nissan PH teases facelifted Patrol

After launching a couple of new models this year starting with the updated Navara, LEAF, updated Terra, and all-new Almera, Nissan Philippines is not yet going quiet as they tease the introduction of yet another model.

This time, Nissan Philippines is launching the updated version of the Patrol, known as the Patrol Royale locally, the brand’s current flagship offering in its local lineup. A teaser page is now available for viewing on the Nissan Philippines website.

For the Patrol’s facelift, it gets a new front fascia, wearing a larger and the latest iteration of Nissan’s V-Motion grille, flanked by more rectangular headlights with C-shaped daytime running lights, and a restyled bumper. It also gets a new set of alloy wheels and updated taillight clusters. This will also be the first model available locally wearing Nissan’s new logo.

Inside, the updated dashboard features a new center stack. On top is a new and larger infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Also seen in the teaser website are brown leather seats and a carried-over leather-wrapped steering wheel with dark faux wood trim around.

No info has been given as to any updates with the engine but expect the updated Patrol’s powertrain to be carried-over from the pre-facelift model. As such, it should be powered by a 5.6-liter V8 petrol engine with 400 horsepower and 560 Nm of torque.

In terms of safety, expect the updated Nissan Patrol to be equipped with Nissan Intelligent Mobility as with all Nissan models introduced this year. This means it should have stuff like Intelligent Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, Intelligent Around-view Monitor, Blind Spot Warning, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.

No exact launch date has been announced yet but considering the teasers are already here, expect it to be before the year ends.
