Nissan’s booth at JMS 2025 will be manga-themed

Motor shows are not only a showcase of a brand’s latest tech, products, and innovations, they’re also a showcase of creativity. As such, different companies try to make the most attractive booths to catch attention and lure in visitors.

Nissan in particular is trying to do something else for this year’s Japan Mobility Show (JMS), creating a manga-themed booth that is guaranteed to make itself pop-out in the crowd.

This surely aligns with the JMS 2025’s theme of “Culture, Creation and Future,” and according to the Japanese automaker, is a “bold artistic statement” and showcases their “commitment to creativity and forward-thinking mobility solutions.”

Nissan also says that with its inspiration to Japan’s iconic manga culture, the booth’s monochrome palette pays homage to a genre that has shaped global imagination, with an aesthetic that becomes a canvas for storytelling.

We already know that this manga-themed space will be used to showcase the new-generation Elgrand and refreshed Ariya, which will both be unveiled at the JMS 2025. This is among many other Nissan products from around the world which will also be present.

As designers, we find profound inspiration in Japan’s vibrant creative culture. This year’s booth is a celebration of that spirit—melding artistry and innovation to offer visitors a glimpse into the future of mobility. While the visual concept sets the stage, the true essence will come alive once visitors step inside, bringing their own color and energy to create a dynamic contrast against the backdrop,” says Alfonso Albaisa, corporate executive of Global Design, Nissan Motor Co., Ltd.
