Nissan’s latest teaser makes us miss the funky 1st-gen Juke

Last week, Nissan released a set of teasers to show everyone that they’re far from slowing down despite the various challenges they’ve had to face in recent times. Among them was the next-generation Juke subcompact crossover which is seen on the left above.
The Nissan Juke, especially the first generation, is very well known for its unconventional and funky styling. Most people hated it but some loved it. Still, Nissan went conservative for the second generation to reach a wider market. For its third, it looks like the Juke is going funky once again.

Now confirmed to be a fully-electric crossover, the all-new Juke shown in the teaser image goes back to its roots. Clearly visible is how it takes inspiration from the Hyper Punk concept from the 2023 Japan Mobility Show (JMS) with its bold and expressive front fascia.
Visible when enhancing the image is a Juke-signature split-headlight design, this time with the daytime running lights forming a V-shaped light bar on top, and a pair of hexagonal headlights. Also visible are the angular lines on the body giving a more stand-out profile.

There’s yet to be any information on the specifications of the all-new Nissan Juke but we can expect the Japanese automaker to give out more information closer to its formal unveiling which will be in the company’s fiscal year 2026 (April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027).
