Shangri-La Plaza will soon have its own Tesla Superchargers

At the launch of the new Tesla Model Y today, Tesla Philippines announced the newest addition to its network of local supercharging stations in the country which will be located at the Shangri-La Plaza Mall in Mandaluyong City.
The new supercharging facility will be located at the basement one level of the shopping mall’s East Wing, and will be the second Tesla Supercharging Station in the country after the opening of its Uptown Mall station in nearby Bonifacio Global City (BGC) when the Tesla Experience Center was inaugurated.
Once operational, there will be a total of four superchargers available for the use of Tesla owners at the Shangri-La Plaza. A charging rate of Php 19 per kWh will be applied, which translates to a cost of approximately Php 1,140 to fully-charge a Tesla Model 3.

For those unable to visit a supercharging station, Tesla Philippines will be including a free wall connector charger for use at home.
A quick visit to the site also revealed that the new facility is already being set up which also means it could become operational within the next couple weeks or months.
