Some of the best YouTubers for car fanatics

Car reviews are an extremely important part of the car buying process today. Whether it’s a written review or a video, they equally do their purpose. Today, video reviews are one of the most popular forms of car reviews and of course you can find them on one of the most popular video streaming services, YouTube. We also have our own YouTube channel where we started everything AutoPH. 

When it comes to watching these YouTube car reviews, you’ll always want to find the one that best describes your choice of vehicle. There are those people who watch these YouTube car reviews as a hobby. With that comes their preference for certain YouTubers and this is what we’re gonna be talking about in this article. Even us having our own YouTube channel with car reviews, we also have our favorites who we always watch and are subscribed too. We decided to share them with you so that you can also check them out and maybe see where we try to get some inspiration.

In no particular order, here are our favorite YouTubers who are probably also the best to watch for car fanatics.

Doug DeMuro

Doug DeMuro is one of our most favorite automotive YouTubers because of the way he does his review videos. His reviews are also very comprehensive. He usually talks about “quirks and features” and they get as detailed as looking at the tiniest unnoticeable things on the car. His YouTube channel mainly focuses on high-end vehicles like Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and others. He occasionally does reviews on more mainstream cars as well such as those from Honda and Toyota.

Doug’s simple review format, easy to understand words, and honest comments contribute to why his reviews are so good. You can watch his videos without even noticing how much time has already gone by.

Carwow

We have been watching Mat Watson’s video reviews on UK-based Carwow ever since he was on Carbuyer. His reviews, though usually short, are also very detailed. Mat is very straight-to-the-point and discusses all information you will really need. Despite his reviews being simple, he also injects some fun in his comments and even actual content. He also does some car show walkthroughs which are some of our favorite videos from the channel.

The Carwow YouTube channel itself is very organized which makes it easier to navigate. Each vehicle type is also segregated into their own individual playlists.

TheStraightPipes

Yuri and Jacob from Canada do tandem car reviews on TheStraightPipes. Their very energetic get-up ensures that the car reviews are not boring. True to their actions, their reviews aren’t boring at all. They review everything from simple mainstream cars to high-performance cars. 

Saabkyle04

Kyle from North Carolina, USA is one of the most established automotive YouTubers out there. His video style or format which shows as many aspects has inspired many others to start their own YouTube channels. We would be lying if we said that our video format is directly inspired by his format. In addition to car reviews, Kyle also shows off many of his car restoration projects.

When you watch his videos, you won’t be surprised as to why he has such a huge following of over 1.2-million subscribers.

Alexlovesmac

For reviews that are closer to home, we watch Alex’s videos on his YouTube channel, named Alexlovesmac. His video format is quite similar to those of Saabkyle04 which is great as his videos show vehicles that aren’t usually available in North America where most popular YouTubers are based.

In addition to car reviews, Alex also does test drive videos with his GoPro action camera, hotel room tours, and flight reviews as well.

Autodeal.com.ph

Of course this list won’t be complete without our very own Filipino car reviewer. Caco Tirona from Autodeal is probably the best among the best. His funny personality well injected in his videos make them very entertaining. The fact that they are entertaining makes it easier for viewers to listen to every word he says. We actually have met Caco twice in-person and he probably has one of the friendliest personalities.
