Suzuki Auto PH partners with Hino Motors PH for utility vehicle production
Due to increasing demand for the production of its Carry utility vehicle with the rise of small-to-medium enterprises (SMEs), Suzuki Philippines, Inc. (SPH) has inked a partnership with Hino Motors Philippines Corporation (HMP).
HMP, formerly known as Pilipinas Hino, Inc., has long been engaged in the assembly and distribution of Hino trucks, buses and spare parts. Widely known in the industry as a “one-stop shop,” from chassis assembly, bodybuilding, and vehicle maintenance, repair and refurbishing they are the first bus body manufacturer in the country to receive an ISO 9001:2000 Certification.
With their long-standing expertise, HMP now joins Suzuki’s production team, along with the brand’s existing body builder partners.
The recent announcement also coincides with Suzuki’s ongoing Carry Promo for 2022, where customers who purchase any Suzuki Carry variant until the end of the year get to receive three years or 45,000 km worth of free periodic maintenance service (PMS) labor, engine oil, oil filter, and gasket changes and replacements.
“We are excited to have Hino Motors on board as one of our body builders to further strengthen the production lines of the ever popular Suzuki Carry,” shared Mr. Keiichi Suzuki, Vice President and General Manager of Suzuki Philippines Automobile Division. “Rest assured, Suzuki will have more units of the Carry available this year to go to work with you and be your reliable partner in fulfilling your business needs.”
