The all-new Kia Seltos has been teased, looking like the rest of its EV siblings

It looks like Kia is finally giving one of the oldest models in its lineup (at least in the Philippines) a much-needed shot in the arm as the automaker has just teased the next-generation Seltos in a few teaser photos before its official world premiere on December 10.

Not much is known about this new Seltos on whether it will be electrified or if it will be using ICE drivetrains, but the teaser mentions that the Seltos will embody “authentic SUV styling” with a forward-looking, high-tech character.

Based on the teasers, the car will utilize Kia’s newest Opposites United design philosophy, with the Star Map daytime running lights, horizontal and vertical taillights, looking something like a more rugged EV5, and this will also come with flush door handles, similar to its EVs, which could hint at a focus on aerodynamics.

Like before, the Seltos will be a global model, and it will come with trim variants like the off-road-oriented X-Line or the sporty GT-Line. The official livestream will happen at Kia’s YouTube account, so tune in there on December 10 to find out more.
