The all-new Nissan Patrol offers no compromises at Php 5.385M

After all the teasers and much clamor around the all-new Nissan Patrol, Nissan Philippines (NPI) has recently launched the full-sized SUV at the Fifth at The Power Plant Mall this March 28, 2025.
With how well the model has been received in our country, we’re the second market to receive it globally. In fact, NPI had over 200 pre-orders even before the model’s official launch.
The latest version of the Patrol is priced at Php 5,385,000 and comes in one specification (LE) with four colors: Granite Black, Everest White with Black Roof (+Php 50,000), Everest White (+Php 20,000) and Gun Metallic with Black Roof (+Php 20,000).

The Y63 Patrol is significantly bigger than the previous generation, now measuring 5,350mm long, 2,115mm wide, and 1,945mm tall.
This SUV was always one of those vehicles with lots of road presence, and as intimidating as the previous generation was, this takes it up another level. The new V-Motion grille is front and center, surrounded by “double C” LED headlights and foglights. You can also see this design element on the fender vents, and rear taillights with a light bar.

The two-tone, 20-inch multi-spoke wheels are shod by thick 275/60 Yokohama Geolandar X-CV tires.

Two 14.3-inch screens are joined together in a single housing (called a Monolith Display) and are paired to a 12-speaker Klipsch Premium Audio system. The new infotainment supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (both wireless), and a wireless charger alongside multiple USB-C ports and 12V sockets.
The tri-zone climate control system has a biometric temperature sensor and ionizer to keep the cabin at an ideal temperature, and a cool box in the center storage to keep drinks and snacks cold.

The seats and dashboard feature quilted leather upholstery in tan and can be optionally specced in beige and burgundy. The front seats are Nissan’s Zero Gravity seats, which support power adjustments, heating and ventilation, and memory functions.

The second row is where you want to be, with lots of space, a center armrest, two 12.8-inch screens for rear entertainment, and a panoramic sunroof. The third row can be power-folded and reclined.

As mentioned before, a 3.5-liter, twin-turbo gasoline V6 (VR35DDTT) is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. Despite being smaller than the 5.6-liter V8 in the Y62 Patrol, it makes more power at 431hp and 700Nm of torque and is more fuel efficient, too.

Staying true to the Patrol heritage, it comes with four-wheel drive and a two-speed transfer case, an electronic locking rear differential, and a six-mode drive/terrain mode selector. Plus, an adaptive air suspension, improves ride comfort, handling, and aerodynamics, and makes ingress, egress, and cargo loading easier.

The usual suite of Nissan’s Intelligent Mobility advanced driver assistance systems are present, but the addition of the ProPILOT system, which combines intelligent cruise control with stop-and-go functionality and lane-keeping assistance for a level of semi-autonomous driving, and the 360-degree camera now gets features such as a 3D view, invisible hood view, and ultra-wide view.
With the launch of the Patrol, the full-size SUV segment just got a whole lot more exciting. Do you prefer this over the Toyota Land Cruiser 300, or do you prefer other full-sized SUVs from America?
Also, did you miss the launch? You can see it at the South Court of the Power Plant Mall until March 30, 2025.
