The first service station on CALAX will be a Caltex

Motorists on the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) will soon have a new stopover destination when driving between the different cities and towns of the provinces just south of Metro Manila.
Chevron Philippines, Inc. (CPI), which operates the Caltex brand of fuel stations around the country, has broken ground for the first-ever fuel service station to open along the expressway which connects the provinces of Cavite and Laguna.
Expected to be operational by March 2026, the new Caltex CALAX will be located on the Cavite-bound (Westbound) direction of CALAX, about three kilometers from the Mamplasan Rotunda which connects CALAX and the South Luzon Expressway (SLEX).
Facilities will include dining establishments, a Caltex autoPro workshop for vehicle maintenance services, and a convenience store. It will also be equipped with an EV charging station, while being powered by solar energy and also being equipped with rainwater collection systems.
“As the operator of CALAX, we’re proud to mark this milestone—the groundbreaking of our first toll service facility with Caltex. This is more than just building new infrastructure along the expressway, it’s a testament to our shared commitment to provide motorists a safe, clean, and reliable place to rest and refuel right where they need it the most,” said Vice President for Communication and Stakeholder Management of CALAX Arlette V. Capistrano.
