The Kia Stinger Gets A Refresh for 2022
While we haven’t released our review of the 2021 Kia Stinger, one thing was sure, it’s an awesome and severely underrated vehicle. That surely helped Kia in changing its image and now they’ve given it a refresh.

The Kia Stinger is world-class, and the refreshed 2022 model continues to evolve expectations.”
As for the changes, the exterior gets new distinctive LED exterior lighting, new geometric alloy wheels, and more aggressive quad exhaust design. The taillights in particular get a new LED light bar spanning the entire rear and the vehicle also makes use of Kia’s new logo.
Inside, the 2022 Kia Stinger gets a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other than that it also gets enhanced LED ambient mood lighting and new Nappa leather seat materials.
Under the hood, the Stinger GT still gets the same 3.3-liter Twin Turbo V6 powertrain paired to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Power is up to 368 hp from 365 and torque is still at 510 Nm.
It also benefits from Kia’s latest Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Auto Emergency Braking Technology, Blind Spot Collision Avoidance, and Lane Keeping Assist which are now all standard.
The 2022 Kia Stinger will be available in North America later this year with other markets to follow. As for the Philippines, considering the model’s double-digit only sales, we cannot tell yet if the Korean brand will continue offering the model locally.
