The Lexus RX in Japan is now quieter and more comfortable

Lexus is giving its longest running crossover nameplate, the RX, a little update for 2025. Initially made available in Japan before the end of February, it receives various improvements that are not immediately visible.
First, it should ride quieter now thanks to an increased sound-absorbing materials in the dashboard and around the rear section of the body. It also gets acoustic glass rear windows. Its Active Sound Control feature has also been tweaked to reduce or increase engine noise depending on the selected driving mode.

With the quieter ride comes a better ride and handling as well thanks to improvements done to the chassis, and the inclusion of Dynamic Rear Steering on the RX450h+ and RX350h AWD variants.

In terms of equipment, it now gets a 12.3-inch fully-digital instrument cluster as standard, as well as ambient lighting with increased brightness. A new two-tone white and black interior color scheme has been added for the RX500h F Sport Performance and RX350 F Sport. Its 21-inch alloy wheels also now come with the option of a dark gray metallic and machine finish.

Other than that, everything else remains the same from the rest of the exterior and interior, and powertrain options. As to when we’ll get this in our market, it will probably be very soon.
