The Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition is as limited as it gets, priced at Php 2.5M

When Mazda first previewed the special 35th Anniversary Edition of the MX-5, more popularly known as the Miata or Roadster, at the Mazda Fan Festa 2024 in Japan, we were left wondering when and if it will be introduced in our market like other special edition versions of the iconic nameplate.
It’s finally here, introduced today at the sidelines of the Sports Cars for a Cause event in Bonifacio Global City. There’s a catch though, you’d have to be quick to get your hands on one as only a small number of units will be available.
To be exact, Mazda Philippines will only be offering a total of 15 units of the MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition in our market, with half of the allocation already spoken for.

Built on the most recent “ND3” update of the two-door convertible, the 35th Anniversary Edition here in the Philippines is exclusively available in Soft Top form with a tan canvas roof. This is matched with a variant-exclusive Artisan Red paint job, bright-silver 17-inch alloy wheels, and a plaque showing the vehicle’s production number and 35th Anniversary text on the rear-right fender.

The interior gets a tan color scheme, along with embroidered 35th anniversary logos on the headrests, a set of special tan floor mats, and Artisan Red interior accents. The vehicle’s key fob also gets an Artisan Red casing, matching the vehicle’s exterior.

As for mechanicals, the 35th Anniversary Edition for our market gets the same powertrains as the standard MX-5 variants. that’s a 2.0-liter Skyactiv-G engine that produces 184 horsepower and 205 Nm of torque. This one though is exclusively mated to a six-speed manual transmission.

Now for its price, the Mazda MX-5 35th Anniversary Edition is available for Php 2,500,000. Again, if you want one of these, you’ll have to act fast as units are limited.
