The Nissan Livina gets a new infotainment screen for 2025

When the Nissan Livina made its Philippine debut back in 2022, it was criticized for being largely similar to the pre-facelift Mitsubishi Xpander which it’s based on. That made sense as at the time as the heavily-refreshed version of its sibling was already available and was more affordable too.

Despite that, it still managed to sell pretty well as it offered pretty much the same experience as its sibling (which is among the top five vehicles in terms of sales in the market) with different styling which fits the bill for other buyers.

One of the biggest gripes of many customers, as well as members of the local motoring media beat was its infotainment system which was a small and outdated seven-inch touchscreen with not much to offer.

And fast forward to 2025, Nissan Philippines has quietly rectified that with a new nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system lifted straight-off the higher variants of the Mitsubishi Xpander.

With that, the Livina now also gets Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, together with an additional USB port. This allows it to somewhat catch-up with its newer and more tech-equipped rivals. The best part? These are standard on all variants including the entry-level 1.5 E M/T.

Other specifications and features remain the same as before, including reflector halogen headlights, LED combination taillights, fabric seats (leather for VL), and its Mitsubishi-sourced 1.5-liter 4A91 engine making 105 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque, mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission.

We’re not sure if pricing has increased with the addition of the new infotainment system but these are as follows according to the NPI website as of this writing:

  • Livina 1.5 E M/T – Php 1,094,000
  • Livina 1.5 EL A/T – Php 1,174,000
  • Livina 1.5 VE M/T – Php 1,214,000
  • Livina 1.5 VL M/T – Php 1,274,000

We’ll update this article once we get more information regarding pricing and if there are other updates. For now, this is what we know. Will the new infotainment system make the Nissan Livina more appealing to you?
