The Nissan Z gets another Heritage Edition pack in the US

We know that the Nissan Z takes a lot of inspiration from past Z-cars with its swoopy silhouette, sleek nose, and retro taillights. That last bit draws heavy inspiration from the Nissan 300ZX as it has the exact same rear end design, and is arguably the most distinctive element of any Z-car.

However, Nissan America decided to take this homage to the 300ZX and the “spirit of the ‘90s” even further by introducing a new Heritage Edition— an additional cosmetics package for the standard Z.

For starters, the car is finished in Midnight Purple— a color that debuted on the 300ZX (even if it is more recognizable from the Skyline GT-R), complete with the 19-inch Rays wheels now finished in bronze. It gets very retro “Twin Turbo” graphics on the sides, with a Twin Turbo badge also found on the carbon fiber spoiler.

Finally, it comes with kick plates and exclusive floor mats. Other than that, it’s still the same Z underneath, with no mechanical, tech, or performance updates. The same 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 (VR30DDTT), the option for either a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic, and the same tech inside.

The other “Heritage Edition” on sale.

Would you want Nissan Philippines to introduce this package to the Z here, or would you rather get the other confusingly named Heritage Edition with a significantly different front bumper?
