The Omoda C3 is an anime-inspired small crossover

Omoda is a relatively young brand, established only in 2022 under the Chery International umbrella. Since then, the company has been growing its presence around the world along with its lineup of mostly crossovers.

Recently holding the Omoda Day event at its hometown of Wuhu, Anhui Province in China, the Chinese automaker has previewed its newest crossover that will soon be joining its lineup—the C3

While not yet in full production form, Omoda says this new subcompact crossover will be aimed at younger buyers, especially with the way it’s designed. It wears a mecha-inspired look with loads of angular and geometric lines around the exterior. The front fascia is sharp and aggressive with split headlights and a large grille.

The wheel arches have a five-point design and house two-tone 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in Continental tires. Towards the rear is a sloping roof and a lightning-shaped signature for the slim taillights.

The interior has not yet been revealed but Omoda says that it will be inspired by starships and will support gaming features with built-in games, controllers, and even external console support.

Technical specifications have not been detailed as well but we won’t be surprised to see it share its powertrains with other Omoda products. We could also see a fully electric version coming.

The full production version of the Omoda C3 will be fully unveiled by October 2025. This new crossover is surely promising for the young brand and makes us excited for what else is in store for the future.
