The Stonic is already Kia PH’s 3rd best-seller for 2020
It looks like Kia’s “Power To Surprise” tagline really worked as surprisingly, the Kia Stonic is the company’s 3rd best-selling model in their Philippine lineup for 2020. The Korean brand introduced the subcompact crossover to the local market in October 2020.
This means the Stonic beat most of the Kia Philippines lineup in total number of sales as other models’ sales numbers include those from January to December, while the Stonic’s only includes October until December.
In total, Kia Philippines sold 345 units of the Stonic or 16.2% of their total sales of 2,129 units. The Soluto subcompact sedan is the brand’s top-selling model with 827 units sold. The K2500 utility vehicle is at number two with 370 units sold.
Kia Philippines sales figures for 2020 are as follows:

The total number of sales is actually a 57.6% decline versus the previous year (2019). Kia PH is aiming to hit triple-digit growth and doubling its market share for 2021.
