The Suzuki Fronx is coming to PH to fight Toyota Raize

Suzuki Philippines will soon be making its presence felt once again in the subcompact crossover segment as it will preview the Fronx at the upcoming Matsuri Festival on June 14, 2025 (Saturday).
Already available in neighboring Thailand and Indonesian markets, it’s safe to say that this crossover will be the successor to the Vitara which was discontinued for our market in 2022.

Measuring at 3,995mm long, 1,765mm wide, and 1,550mm tall, the Suzuki Fronx will be able to compete directly with the likes of the Toyota Raize and Kia Sonet which are both very popular in the segment.
Given Suzuki’s penchant for mild-hybrid powertrains, the Fronx will likely come powered by a 1.5-liter K15C engine paired to a 12V lithium-ion battery and integrated starter generator (ISG). This makes 103 horsepower and 137Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.

We don’t know what exact specifications and features our market will be getting but once we get to check it out at the upcoming preview, we’ll be sure to let you know so watch this space.
If you want to see the Suzuki Fronx in the metal, the Suzuki Matsuri Festival will be held at the SM Mall of Asia on June 14-15, 2025 (Saturday to Sunday).
