The Toyota GR GT supercar surfaces in a teaser before its December 5 reveal

As the days count down to the global debut date of Toyota Gazoo Racing’s halo car, a video has leaked online showing a short commercial meant for the Japanese market of the two cars that Toyota has featured prominently in its advertisement for the mysterious V8-powered two-door supercar, which you can watch below:

While a very dark video, you can see that the car is shown off in its full glory. You can see its sleek, elongated hood with three vents that will supposedly help keep the twin-turbo V8 cool (which you can hear going at full throttle), with massive rear fenders and a sleek rear light bar.

Also, the car’s vanity plate is visible, and it reads “GR GT”, which could possibly confirm what this model will be called. Finally, the commercial confirmations of the December 5, 2025 global reveal date.

While rumors are swirling around on whether this will be a Lexus or Toyota Gazoo Racing-badged model, the similarities between this and its Lexus-badged Sport Concept model are evident. Only time will tell if we will see this as an LFA successor or an all-new nameplate solely for Toyota Gazoo Racing.
