The Toyota Vios gets a little upgrade for 2025

Still the country’s most popular vehicle on sale today, the third-generation Toyota Vios soldiers on despite the long overdue all-new fourth generation already on sale in neighboring markets for a couple of years now, and its rivals having received major updates or all-new generations.

With that, it seems that Toyota Motor Philippines doesn’t want to rest on its laurels as the country’s best-selling model receives a little update which we noticed while browsing through the Japanese automaker’s official website.

For this year, the Toyota Vios gets a new and larger eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity like before, and replaces the seven-inch unit in previous models.

It is also exclusively available on the top-spec 1.3 XLE variant as the 1.3 XE CVT and 1.3 J M/T variants both still get a non-touchscreen 2DIN head unit.

We’re not sure if the model’s current pricing which has slightly increased from before is due to the updates, but here they are now:

  • Vios 1.3 J M/T – Php 738,000
  • Vios 1.3 XE CVT – Php 780,000
  • Vios 1.3 XLE M/T – Php 868,000
  • Vios 1.3 XLE CVT – Php 908,000

Also noteworthy is that the same update has been given to the entire Toyota Hiace (H300) lineup. This means that not only the Super Grandia Elite, Super Grandia, GL Grandia Tourer, and GL Grandia get the upgraded screen, even the lower variant Commuter Deluxe and recently introduced Commuter Deluxe Cargo are included.

Prices for that are now as follows:

  • Hiace 2.8 Commuter Deluxe Cargo M/T – Php 1,615,000
  • Hiace 2.8 Commuter Deluxe M/T – Php 1,877,000
  • Hiace 2.8 GL Grandia M/T – Php 2,310,000
  • Hiace 2.8 GL Grandia A/T – Php 2,386,000
  • Hiace 2.8 GL Grandia Tourer A/T – Php 2,527,000
  • Hiace 2.8 Super Grandia A/T – Php 2,906,000
  • Hiace 2.8 Super Grandia Elite A/T – Php 3,297,000
