The updated Isuzu mu-X will arrive on PH shores on April 4

Isuzu fans, mark your calendars, as Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) is set to introduce the updated mu-X on April 4.
While there are no specifics at the moment about what the local mu-X will be arriving with, we were already able to get a preview of the midsize PPV SUV at the 2025 Bangkok International Motor Show.

Similar to its recently facelifted D-Max sibling, the mu-X receives a more aggressive front fascia with a significantly larger front grille surrounded by two fighter jet-inspired bumper vents and new Dynamic Blade headlights.

The rear end also gets a minor facelift in the form of new taillights connected by a black trim piece. Wheel sizes can go as high as 20-inches on the higher trim variants.

Thailand also gets at the top of the heap, a new sporty RS variant, which gets an even more aggressive front bumper, a black mesh grille, blacked-out headlights, wheels, mirrors, and roof.

The interior, while similar, gets new Truffle Brown upholstery (or a sporty green-and-black motif with red ambient lighting on the RS), a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, and an updated infotainment system, alongside a PM 2.5 air filtration system and USB-C charging ports.

In Thailand, two engine choices are available: a 3.0-liter four-cylinder turbodiesel engine (4JJ3-TCX) that makes 190 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque, mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, or a new 2.2-liter turbodiesel (RZ4F-TC). It produces 163 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque, mated to a new eight-speed automatic transmission.

Other benefits include a new electric power steering system and enhancements to the advanced driver assistance systems like Lane Departure Prevention and Traffic Jam Assist.
Are you hoping that Isuzu Philippines introduces all the new features and perhaps even the all-new RS variant?
