The Volkswagen Multivan Kombi will be priced around Php 3.650M
Volkswagen Philippines has listened to Filipinos and is finally importing once again vehicles from its home country of Germany. It comes at a price though.
What Volkswagen calls iconic, the Multivan Kombi is coming this July and the first batch of units have officially arrived from Germany. Yes, not China.
To be exact, the model Volkswagen Philippines is bringing in is the top-of-the-line Multivan Kombi. We don’t know yet what exact features it will be equipped with but Volkswagen PH did mention that it’ll come with features such as dual power sliding doors, a power tailgate, Nappa leather interior, and front and second row captain chairs. It’s also good to note that the second row seats swivel to allow face-to-face meetings or conversations with third row passengers. A multifunction table is also available.
The powertrain has also been confirmed. The Volkswagen Multivan Kombi will be powered by a 2.0-liter TDI diesel engine paired to a 7-speed Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) with Tiptronic function and coasting feature. It produces a maximum power generation of 148 horsepower and 340 Nm of torque.
For pricing, nothing seems final yet but Volkswagen Philippines says the Multivan Kombi will be priced at around Php 3,650,000.
As for color choices, it will be available in three colors: Reflex Silver, Black Pearlescent, and the Bi-Color Reflex Silver/Starlight Blue. Other color variants of the Multivan Kombi will also be available by special order.
Is the Volkswagen Multivan Kombi a good alternative to the likes of the Toyota Alphard or maybe even the Toyota Hiace Super Grandia?
