These are (most) of the specs and pricing of the Geely EX5 EM-i PHEV

We know that Geely Motor Philippines is on a quest for redemption, and it aims to do that by rejuvenating its lineup with several new models. One of them is the Geely EX5 EM-i, the plug-in hybrid equivalent of its EX5 BEV, and the model is slated to launch sometime this year.
Whether done intentionally or unintentionally, almost all of the details of the EX5 EM-i have been revealed on its own Philippine website. For one, it will come in two variants, the Pro that starts at Php 1,288,000, and the Max that’s priced at Php 1,468,000, according to excited agents on social media.

The EX5 EM-i is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 99 horsepower and 125Nm of torque, paired to an electric motor that produces 217 horsepower and 262Nm.
The lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery has a capacity of 18.4kWh, giving it an all-electric range of up to 83km or a combined range of up to 943km with a claimed WLTP fuel consumption figure of 41.6km/L. Of course, this is a plug-in hybrid vehicle, meaning it can be charged via both AC and DC.

The EX5 EM-i features a different front fascia from the standard EX5 with tweaked LED headlights, a bumper with a slightly bigger grille opening, and two different wheel designs, presumably the bigger one for the Max.

The website also confirms a handful of other specifications, like the six colors it will be offered in, such as Alphine White, Cloudveil Silver, Glacier Blue, Jungle Green, Polar Black, and Volcanic Gray. There are also two different interior colors, Amber Brown and Sapphire Blue, complete with a panoramic sunroof, a wireless charger, and 256-color ambient lighting.

Like its BEV sibling, it’s powered by the Flyme Auto Infotainment System, powering three screens (a heads-up display, digital driver’s display, and infotainment screen), a 16-speaker Flyme Sound Premium Audio System, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System.
With almost all the features revealed, are you looking forward to Geely Motor Philippines’ latest offering, and will you pick that over the likes of the ubiquitous BYD Sealion 6 DM-i?
