These are the new dealer principals for the ex-ACMobility Honda Cars PH dealerships

Just last month, we reported that ACMobility, Ayala Corporation’s automotive and mobility division, will be ending its partnership with Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) for dealership operations.

Come January 1, 2026, the Iconic Dealership, Inc. (IDI) (a subsidiary of ACMobility) operated dealerships will now be transferred to both the Gateway Group and Borromeo Motoring Group, distributors who operate dealerships of multiple brands across the country.

The Gateway Group will operate Honda Cars Makati, Honda Cars Alabang, Honda Cars Cebu, Honda Cars Negros, and Honda Cars Cagayan De Oro.

Meanwhile, the Borromeo Motoring Group will manage Honda Cars Bacoor, Honda Cars Pasig, Honda Cars Mandaue, and Honda Cars Iloilo.

More interestingly, HCPI will also be introducing a new subsidiary to directly operate dealerships, which will begin in early 2026 once the government regulatory bodies have approved of this new endeavor for the automaker. Honda Cars Shaw will be the first dealership to be operated under the new subsidiary.

In a combined effort, the new subsidiary and our new and existing dealer partners will drive forward and ensure that Honda’s profound dedication to customer satisfaction is fully realized,” said Rie Miyake, HCPI President.
