Toyota Motor PH improves used vehicle program, now known as T-Sure

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) is giving its used vehicle program a boost in response to the continuously growing demand for easy and flexible options for personal mobility with “T-Sure, Toyota Quality Pre-owned Cars.”

Formerly known as the Toyota Certified Used Vehicle Program (TCUV), T-Sure offers an alternative to consumers who are looking for worry-free car purchase options without compromising quality, value, safety, and excellent service. It will also be the brand name used by Toyota dealerships who will offer used vehicles.

“The ‘T’ stands for Toyota and ‘Sure’ denotes trustworthiness. This new brand name sends a strong message that customers can have peace of mind in transacting with a T-Sure dealer, whether he is trading in an old vehicle or buying a pre-owned car,” said TMP Senior Vice President for Marketing Masatoshi Toiya.

After 10 years of running TCUV, TMP saw the opportunity to grow further and enhance its services by through improving the operational efficiency of the Toyota dealer network and addressing the concerns that used car customers are encountering. T-Sure makes use of a systematic operation for assessment, refurbishment, pricing, certification, and warranty to ensure the quality of vehicle condition of every unit.

T-Sure offers three different types of products at various price points, designed to better fit customers’ needs and budget. The first is Toyota Certified Elite, T-Sure’s premium product which comes with a 1-year warranty on engine and transmission, which can be claimed at any Toyota outlet nationwide. Second is Toyota Value Plus which comes with a 3-month warranty on engine and transmission and can be claimed at the selling dealer only. The most affordable option is Toyota Value Lite. This comes with no warranty but still with vehicles that went through the same standard process of vehicle check to ensure its quality when driven out the dealer.

TMP uses a T-Sure Used Car app with a built-in pricing tool showing real-time price range of various models to ensure fair pricing for customers. Customers may also avail affordable financing schemes through TFSPH, which offers a much-improved affordable package for all T-Sure vehicles, now with longer payment terms and expanded coverage up to 9-year old vehicles. In addition, competitive packages from Toyota Insure and After Sales Service, tailor-fit to the needs of pre-owned car customers, may be availed on top of the purchased T-Sure unit.

Aside from offering Toyota Quality pre-owned cars, dealers also source vehicles from current Toyota customers who wish to upgrade by trading or selling their vehicle at any Toyota dealer. The customer’s vehicle for selling or trade-in will be assessed by accredited assessors. The results of which will be shared to the customer for transparency to guarantee that the Toyota owner gets the fair value of their vehicle.

As of this writing, there are currently 29 Toyota outlets offering T-Sure vehicles in Luzon, and another 9 in Visayas and Mindanao combined. TMP aims to increase the total to 31 outlets before the year ends. The full list of T-Sure outlets can be found on the official T-Sure website.
