Toyota Motor PH quietly introduces Rush GR-S for Php 1.176M

Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) has expanded the variant lineup of its popular 7-seater Rush MPV or SUV, whichever you want to call it, with the introduction of a new GR Sport variant.

The Toyota Rush is the latest model in Toyota’s Philippine lineup to receive the Toyota Gazoo Racing (TGR) Sport treatment after its other models such as the Fortuner, Hilux, Corolla Altis, and Corolla Cross.

The Toyota Rush has been a preferred SUV for young people seeking to fully live their active lifestyle with a car that can keep up with their desire to break away from the everyday,” said Sherwin Chualim, TMP’s First Vice President for Vehicle Sales Operations.

That is why it is very fitting that the Rush now comes with a GR-S variant that follows TGR’s philosophy of pushing the limits for better. For our customers, this means added thrill, excitement, and style in their everyday drives.”

So what sets the Rush GR Sport from other Rush variants? Differences can be found outside in the form of a GR-branded front bumper spoiler, rear bumper spoiler, and side body moulding. It also comes in three TGR-matching colors which are Dark Red Mica Metallic, Black Metallic 1, and White 2.

Other exterior and interior bits remain the same as on the 1.5 G variant such as the LED headlights, halogen fog lights, 17-inch two-tone alloy wheels, 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 8-speaker audio system, just to name a few.

Also being a GR Sport, what’s under the hood remains unchanged. The Toyota Rush GR Sport is still powered by a 1.5-liter Inline 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 104 horsepower and 136 Nm of torque, paired to a 4-speed automatic transmission.

The new Toyota Rush GR Sport is priced at Php 1,176,000 and is now available in all 72 Toyota dealerships all over the country.
