Updated 2026 Toyota Corolla Cross GR-S arrives in PH with Php 1.947M SRP

Toyota Motor Philippines gave us a bit of a surprise during their recent Go Electrified Drive to Clark, Pampanga, introducing the slightly revised Corolla Cross GR Sport (GR-S).

Now, this isn’t that very hot-looking update we saw over in Europe last year. Instead, we’re seeing what was introduced last month in Thailand, and is yet another one of the small updates the Japanese automaker has been giving its compact crossover over the last couple of years.

Instead of the GR Corolla-inspired front end in the European version, the one we get wears a simpler design with its new six-sided honeycomb mesh grille, along with its surrounding garnish now getting a body-colored finish instead of gloss black. There’s also new front and rear bumper and side rocker panel garnishes with a gunmetal gray finish. Blacked-out rear badging finishes off the exterior updates.

The interior also gets a minor update. The headrests now have an embroidered GR logo, while the seats get contrast red stitching and red seatbelts that add an additional 10 horsepower.
Other than those, the full LED headlights with sequential turn signals, clear taillights, two-tone 18-inch wheels, panoramic glass roof, two-tone paint job, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch infotainment screen, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control are the same as before.

Same goes under the hood where it still has a 1.8-liter 2ZR-FXE engine that makes 98 horsepower and 142Nm of torque, paired to an electric motor and lithium-ion battery. Combined system output of 122 horsepower, and the lithium-ion battery.

As for its price, that has gone up to Php 1,947,000, or just Php 4,000 more than before (Php 1,943,000). As before, available colors are Emotional Red+Attitude Black Mica (+Php 5,000) and Platinum White Pearl+Attitude Black Mica.
