The latest in Philippine motoring.

We made some changes to the Ford Territory

To suit our personal preferences.

The all-new Ford Territory was just launched about two weeks ago. Based on its specs and features, Ford Philippines is definitely delivering something promising. It shows how much talked about it is online. Many people are loving it and well, some are hating it because of its powertrain and ancestry.

We haven’t gotten the chance to see it in person yet unfortunately. The guys at Ford did schedule a few hours of time with us for a test unit before the launch but we unfortunately had to cancel at the last minute. Despite that, with all the videos and photos everywhere online and those sent to us by Ford PH before the launch, we already saw the things we like and of course, don’t like.

Now for those who love their Territorys, don’t get mad because this is just our opinion, like with every other person. What we did is we opened our computer, launched Photoshop, and did some editing work to make the Territory’s exterior a bit more suited for our tastes. Check them out below.

The first thing we did was raise the top part of the rear windows. The original design is a bit more curved while the rear quarter windows were small. Now the whole top portion of all windows is a straight line and the rear quarter glass is now taller. This should improve rear visibility, improve the feeling of space in the rear seats, and look better, at least in our eyes.

The Ford Territory is really a looker so there’s really not much to change, the second and last change we did is on the rear tailgate. We find the Territory name spelled out a bit out of place between the chrome bar and rear windshield so we switched the place of that and the Ford logo. It’s common to see a car’s name spelled out on the chrome bar and it doesn’t look bad here too. It’s either debadge that rear or do it the way we did.

What do you think of our changes? Is there anything else you see worth changing on the Ford Territory’s exterior? We don’t.
