2023 Ford Everest might get 5 variants in PH

While Ford Philippines is focusing on the upcoming launch of the all-new 2023 Ford Ranger which might be happening this month, the subsequent launch of the all-new 2023 Ford Everest is the next thing to look forward to.

So far, as of today, Ford Philippines has already confirmed that the all-new Everest will be coming this year. Not only that, they have also confirmed two variants that will make it here. These are the Sport and Titanium+, both of which are available with the current generation model.

Now, we came across what is supposedly a list of the next-generation Everest’s complete variant lineup for the Philippine market. When launched, the next-gen Ford Everest will be available with a total of five variants, three more than already confirmed. Do note that the list we found is not official and must be taken with a grain of salt. We did confirm it with a contact from within the company who cannot be named due to obvious reasons. He got back to us with an affirmative answer.

Based on the list, the 2023 Ford Everest lineup will start with the entry-level 2.0 Trend 4×2 A/T, followed by the 2.0 Titanium+ 4×2 A/T, then the 2.0 Sport 4×2 A/T. This will then be followed by a new 2.0 Limited 4×2 A/T, and topped-off by the top-spec 2.0 Bi-Turbo Titanium+ 4×4. We still don’t know what exact specifications and equipment we’ll be getting with the all-new Everest but a quick look at the Ford Philippines website’s ‘Coming Soon’ section gives us a glimpse of what to expect at least on the Sport and Titanium+ variants.

For starters, the 2023 Ford Everest 2.0 Sport 4×2 A/T will get a blacked-out finish on the front grille, headlight housings, skid and side plates, side mirrors, door handles, 20-inch alloy wheels, and tailgate garnish. Inside, it will get a large 10.1-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment display. It will be available with 8 different colors which are Blue Lightning, Snowflake White, Equinox Bronze, Sedona Orange, Meteor Gray, Arctic White, and Aluminum Silver.

Meanwhile, the 2023 Ford Everest Titanium+ will get Matrix LED headlights, a chrome front grille, and machine-finished 20-inch alloy wheels. Inside, it gets an even larger 12-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen infotainment display and a fully-digital instrument cluster. It will be available in the same color choices as the Sport minus Blue Lightning.

As for what’s under the hood, based on the list, all variants will be powered by Ford’s 2.0-liter EcoBlue Single Turbo Diesel engine. If we were to base on overseas specifications, it may produce 168 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Interestingly. This is less than on the current generation model with the same engine. Meanwhile, the Bi-Turbo version will produce the same 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, paired to a 10-speed SelectShift automatic transmission.

Of course, pricing is unknown at this time and again, we must take the information on the variant lineup with a grain of salt as nothing really is confirmed or final at this time. Anyway, with the 2023 Ford Ranger coming very soon, it might not be too long of a wait for the 2023 Ford Everest to come and finally reach our shores. We expect to find more information once we’re closer to an actual launch.
