Which of these two VIP haulers is the better option?
Full-size SUVs make you big, not only in status but also in what you ride. These large vehicles usually carry rich businessmen, politicians, and other types of VIPs. The usual top two choices are both from the land of the rising sun.
Recently gaining popularity thanks to its cheaper asking price is the Nissan Patrol Royale. Nissan’s flagship SUV has been available in the country for quite a long time. This sixth-generation model is out there to compete with the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. The flagship Toyota SUV has been a top choice for the wealthy for decades.
Both SUVs are powered by V8 engines, one drinks gasoline and the other diesel. One has remained basically the same as when it first came out since 2010, while the other way older since 2007.
Pricing is quite surprising. The Nissan Patrol Royale goes for almost Php 1-million less than the Toyota Land Cruiser 200. The Patrol is priced at Php 3,988,000 while the Land Cruiser is at Php 4,935,000.
