ACMobility opens new charging station in Ayala Center Cebu

Charging fully-electric vehicles will now be more convenient for owners living in Cebu City as ACMobility, the mobility arm of the Ayala Corporation, has opened a new charging facility in their Ayala Center Cebu shopping mall.

This new charging facility is the company’s first location in the province of Cebu, and complements the inauguration of the new BYD Cebu dealership in nearby Mandaue City. ACMobility also distributes BYD EVs in the Philippine automotive market.

Officially opened for public use last April 29, 2024, the new charging facility is located at the basement one level of the Ayala Center Cebu parking. Two charging plugs are available and offer CCS2 (Type 2) and GB/T charging.

These chargers can be used for free by all EV owners throughout the month of May. Their availability will also follow the shopping mall’s operating hours of 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM from Sundays to Thursdays, and 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays.

As of this writing, ACMobility currently operates 48 charging stations in 23 locations around the country. Right now, most of them are concentrated in Metro Manila.
