BYD Cars PH opens in Balintawak, Quezon City

BYD Cars Philippines continues to bring its lineup of hybrid and electric vehicles as it inaugurates the new BYD Balintawak in partnership with Rich Prime Motors.

Located at 1294, Epifanio Delos Santos Avenue (EDSA), Apolonio Samson, Quezon City, BYD Balintawak is not only located along Metro Manila’s main thoroughfare, but is also accessible to customers from the cities and towns on the northern outskirts of the country’s capital region as it is just a few hundred meters from the start and end point of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX).

With this dealership, we are taking a significant step toward making electric vehicles more accessible to consumers in northern Metro Manila,” said ACMobility CEO Jaime Alfonso Zobel de Ayala. “Our expanding EV infrastructure and comprehensive lineup of electric mobility options facilitate a smoother transition to electrified mobility, making it easier for everyone to embrace a greener future,” he added.

The new dealership is composed of a 500 sqm showroom that can accommodate six vehicles on display, and a 1,250 sqm service area for customers’ aftersales needs. That’s not all, it’s also the first BYD dealership in the country to be equipped with a DC charging station, allowing customers to quickly charge their vehicle’s batteries.

The inauguration of BYD Balintawak is part of the Chinese automaker’s plan to establish 33 dealerships in the country by early 2025.
