GAC Motor sales in PH grew by 65% in 2024

GAC Motor has grown a lot in the previous year.

GAC Motor Philippines and its distributor Astara Philippines may seem to have become a bit quieter over the past year but their sales say otherwise.

The Chinese automaker continues to see a large amount of growth, one of the fastest in the country’s automotive industry, with its lineup composed of a single sedan, and various crossovers and MPVs.

From January to December 2024, the company was able to move a total of 3,207 units, an increase of 65% compared to the previous year’s 1,943 units.

The GAC GS3 Emzoom accounted for majority of the brand’s local sales.

Topping their sales charts is the GS3 Emzoom. The subcompact crossover accounted for a whopping 65% majority of the brand’s local sales with 2,089 units finding homes. Meanwhile, the M6 Pro and M8 MPVs sold 301 and 225 units, respectively.

The M6 Pro and M8 are also strong performers for GAC Motor Philippines.

The company also attributes this sales success in the expansion of its dealership network which has grown to a total of 31 dealerships nationwide. No exact figure was given but they did say that more are expected to become operational this year.

More than 3,000 Filipinos have partnered with GAC Motor and Astara Philippines in 2024, a powerful affirmation of our shared vision for the future of mobility,” said Astara Philippines Country Manager Luis Torres. “We are grateful for their trust and look forward to a continued collaboration, delivering unparalleled mobility solutions that redefine the driving experience.”
