Ford PH to bring in Territory Hybrid next

It looks like Ford Philippines is in full swing with electrification, as it looks to introduce its first hybrid vehicle in the Territory Hybrid, according to LTO homologation documents.
Based on the documents, the crossover will be utilizing a 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to an electric motor, pushing out 215 horsepower (160kW).
Other confirmed specifications include a lithium-ion battery of unknown capacity, dimensions of 4,685mm long, 1,760mm tall, and 1,935mm wide. It rides on 18-inch wheels (for this Titanium variant), and has a ground clearance of 157mm and a wheelbase of 2,726mm.

The documents don’t indicate if the car is a plug-in hybrid, but if it is, you can expect a CATL-made battery pack of 18.4kWh. This will be able to drive up to at least 115km on pure electric power, and a maximum range of up to 1,324km.

For what’s new with the Territory, this is a very heavy refresh, where the front face is revised completely to have new C-clamp headlights, a new grille design (depending on which variant you choose), new wheels, and an updated interior layout and interface.
It’s only a matter of time before we see this launch, but we’re seeing the Mustang Mach-E gallop ahead to showrooms as Ford Philippines recently confirmed the arrival of this vehicle very soon.
