Kia Philippines to open 4 new dealerships this year

Kia’s expansion in the Philippines continues.

While other companies face the reality of stalling their expansion plans, with some even scaling down operations, Kia, under the distributorship of Ayala-owned AC Motors will continue expanding its presence in the country by opening four new dealerships.Three of the four new dealerships will be located within Metro Manila. Kia sees this move as a way to increase its reach in the country and make the brand more accessible to Filipinos.

All four new dealerships will be complete with sales and service facilities. The first is Kia Marikina which will be under the management of Advan Motor Inc. The said company already manages dealerships from other brands such as Chevrolet Quezon Avenue and MG Marikina. This branch is expected to serve the eastern side of Metro Manila including parts of the Rizal Province. Kia Fairview will be the second Kia dealership to be managed by the ANC+ Group of Companies after Kia Santa Rosa. Its location will allow residents of Northern Metro Manila to reach the brand more easily.

Outside Metro Manila, Kia Isabela will be the first Kia dealership in Region 2. It will be owned by the Laus Group of Companies which already manages five Kia dealerships including Kia Pampanga and Kia Clark. It is expected to cater to those who need more utilitarian vehicles from the brand.

Lastly, the Kia brand will be returning to Bonifacio Global City with the opening of Kia BGC. It will be owned and operated by Iconique Dealership Inc. which is also owned by AC Motors, the official distributor of the brand in the country.

“I am very excited to announce that Kia Philippines hopes to continue the gains it has made in 2019 by expanding our reach and allowing us to give Filipinos more surprises,” said Manny Aligada, President of Kia Philippines. “We, together with our business partners, are confident that this move will help strengthen the brand’s presence and show the Filipino people that we are here for them, despite the challenges we are facing today,” Aligada added.

The four new Kia dealerships are expected to be operational before the end of 2020. More dealerships as part of the company’s expansion plans in the country are already in the pipeline. All these dealerships, just like the existing network, will have complete sales and aftersales facilities.
