Five reasons the Fiido M1 Pro should be your next electric runabout

Electric bicycles have become a part of the daily lives of many people. Some use them for their daily commutes, some for quick errands, but most importantly, a lot of them are used for food delivery work.
Things to consider are simple but there are a lot of choices in the industry, and at its current retail price of Php 65,000, the Fiido M1 Pro seems to be a very good choice and we give you five easy reasons why that’s the case.

It looks great
Electric bicycles aren’t usually known for style but the Fiido M1 Pro makes sure that you look good. It looks like a regular mountain bike, but with a thicker frame as you do need a place to house the battery. The decals definitely look stylish, and you won’t be getting any weird stares from non-e-bike users.
It’s easy to use

I’ll get it out of the way, the Fiido M1 Pro is heavy and you’ll definitely be getting a good leg day workout with this, but that’s not how you’re supposed to use it. You’ll easily forget about that 25kg weight (with the battery installed) once you use it with electric assist, or in full electric mode, which brings us to the next reason.
It has a lot of power
With a 500W rear-mounted hub motor, the Fiido M1 Pro is capable of reaching a top speed of 45kph. That’s all that you’ll need to get yourself through all the heavy gridlock you’ll be dealing with inside the city. It even has three electric assist levels which you can select depending on what you need or want.

Assist Level 1 is good enough for your ordinary commutes, and also the most efficient. Assist Level 2 is the most balanced, while Assist Level 3 will be the one to answer your need for speed. Just don’t have too much fun as you might end up eating up all that 130km of range much faster. But yes, it is fun.

Steep uphill rides won’t be an issue at all, and you’ll be laughing at those who will have to stop and walk their regular bicycles because they simply can’t handle the road anymore.
It’s practical
I’ve mentioned easy to use, but what help will that give if this wasn’t practical? No worries, this is practical. Minus the rather heavy weight, the Fiido M1 Pro can be easily folded to fit in the cargo area of most vehicles on the market in case you’d like to bring it along and transport it somewhere such as on a road trip.

In my case, it was easy to fit at the back of my family’s Mitsubishi Montero Sport, and at the back of my Honda CR-V RS e:HEV tester from the time I had it.
It can go anywhere

So you found yourself a good daily ride in the Fiido M1 Pro, but what about weekends? It’s got you covered as this is basically an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) with two wheels. If you find yourself taking some trails, those thick 20-inch tires will be very helpful.
It could use a little bit better grip, or maybe you can swap those tires out for proper all-terrain tires, but you won’t have any trouble gaining the confidence for when the road gets rough on this bike.
Should you get one?

That depends on you and your lifestyle but I personally would as it does match my adventurous lifestyle. I’ve seen several of these on the road and I’m not surprised why.
And if you do want it, you can easily visit any of the four Popcycle E-Bike Center branches: Venice Grand Canal Mall in McKinley Hill, Taguig City; Century City Mall in Makati City; Promenade Mall in Greenhills, San Juan City; and at No. 2 Scout Rallos Street corner Mother Ignacia Avenue in Quezon City.
