You can finally have just one RFID account for all tollways

Don’t like the idea of having two separate accounts and RFID stickers for our local expressways’ toll collection systems? Good news, that’s finally going to be a thing of the past, at least in Luzon.
The Department of Transportation (DOTr), together with the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB), and in partnership with RFID service providers Autosweep and Easytrip, have officially launched the One RFID, All Tollways.
This eliminates the need to have separate Autosweep and Easytrip stickers or accounts for one vehicle, allowing motorists to maintain a single RFID account and sticker for all expressways in Luzon.
For new RFID installations, you simply have to register online with your preferred RFID provider, and have an account opened with the corresponding sticker installed.
If you already have existing separate RFID stickers and/or accounts, all you have to do is also register online with your preferred RFID provider, then proceed to any of their authorized service centers to have the unchosen RFID sticker and account cancelled or removed.
And in case you still want to continue with the way it is right now with separate accounts and stickers, you’ll be pleased to know that the One RFID, All Tollways system is not mandatory.
This is definitely a great development for motorists’ convenience. We just hope that both RFID service providers (and their customer service staff) properly implement this, unlike a certain tollway provider.
