Toyota Motor PH’s Jing Atienza is the new CAMPI President

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) welcomes its newly elected President Jose Maria “Jing” Atienza, who succeeds Atty. Rommel Gutierrez, who held the position for the past 14 years.

Atienza, who holds more than 35 years of experience in the local automotive industry, is currently the Executive Vice President of Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), and has also held various positions in the Japanese automaker’s marketing division, was Head of Marketing for Toyota Financial Services, and was also president of the Toyota Makati dealership group.

Newly elected CAMPI officers for 2026 were also announced. These are Atty. Rhys Alexei Murillo of Nissan Philippines (NPI) as Vice President, Robert Carlos of Isuzu Philippines (IPC) as Corporate Secretary, Victor Vinarao of Mitsubishi Motors Philippines (MMPC) as Treasurer, and Atty. Louie Soriano of Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI) as Assistant Treasurer.

CAMPI is the largest automotive industry association in the Philippines with 29 member brands. These brands also held an approximate 95% market share in vehicle sales in 2025.

The CAMPI’s new vision for the growth of the local automotive industry was also announced by Atienza, supported by four pillars: technology and innovation, vehicle and road safety, industry development, and sustainability.
