Official retail sales of the Toyota Land Cruiser FJ have started
One of the most anticipated models to come from Toyota of recent is the Land Cruiser FJ, which is an all-new entry in the legendary Land Cruiser lineup, being the most affordable one yet, while utilizing the tried-and-tested IMV platform to make sure it has unmatched off-roading capabilities.
First previewed at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show last June, the model officially went on sale nationwide last July 20, 2026. It starts at Php 2.235-million for the TX and Php 2.575-million for the VX.
It’s powered by a 2.7-liter naturally-aspirated four-cylinder engine (2TR-FE) that produces 166 horsepower and 245Nm of torque, exclusively mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
It rides on a part-time four-wheel drive system that works in rear-wheel drive most of the time, but of course, can go four-wheel drive when needed via the 4H/4L selector. This also utilizes a double-wishbone front suspension and a four-link rear suspension, alongside having 245mm of ground clearance, an auto limited-slip differential, and the Active Traction Control System (A-TRC).
Both measure at 4,610mm long, 1,855mm wide, but the TX sits at 1,890mm tall, while the VX is a bit taller at 1,950mm thanks to roof rails. It’s available in Smoky Blue, Oxide Bronze Mica, Ash, Attitude Black Mica, and Platinum White Pearl Mica, which costs an additional Php 15,000.

Standard equipment for the TX include LED headlights, 17-inch steel wheels, a urethane steering wheel, synthetic leather seats, a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a seven-inch digital instrument cluster, and a reverse camera.
As for the VX, this adds some luxuries like 18-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, side steps, a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, power adjustments for the seats, leather sterling wheel and shift knob, and the suite of Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 advanced driver assistance systems, with a Panoramic View Monitor.
