New Lynk & Co PH signs first new set of dealerships

Recently, it was confirmed that the Lynk & Co brand would be changing hands here in the Philippines, from the United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) to Geely Motor Philippines (GMP), a direct subsidiary of Lynk & Co and Geely parent company Geely Auto International Corporation (GAIC).
And it definitely looks like things are moving quite swiftly as GMP announces the signing of Lynk & Co’s first set of new dealerships in the Philippines as they prepare to relaunch under new management. The dealership signing ceremony was held in Hangzhou, China which is home to both the Geely and Lynk & Co brands.
Soon to join the family of Lynk & Co dealerships in the country will be new dealerships under the management of MG Gateway South Corp. of the Gateway Group, and Monte Rosa Motors, Inc. of the ANC Group of Companies, both among the largest automotive dealership companies in the country.
“The Philippines is a vital market for Lynk & Co. This partnership further solidifies the foundation for our long-term growth in the country. Moving forward, we will work closely with our dealer partners to continuously refine our sales and service infrastructure, driving steady and sustained development,” said Geely Auto International Corporation General Manager of ASEAN RHD Business Unit Evin Ye.
Lynk & Co is expected to officially relaunch its presence in the Philippines this fourth quarter of the year. While an actual date has not yet been announced as of this writing, it will be marked by the introduction of the Lynk & Co 900 plug-in hybrid (PHEV) SUV. Full details about this new model and the rest of Lynk & Co’s plans for the Philippines will be announced soon.
