What can we expect from the 2027 Ford Ranger and Everest?

A few months ago, we reported that Ford Philippines could soon be launching a refreshed lineup for their Ranger and Everest, two of their most popular offerings. It could’ve happened at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last June, but the American automaker unfortunately had to pull out from the event.
Fast forward to August 2026, the expected launches of both models are yet to have happened. Despite that, various information about the two vehicles have already come out to the public, and we’re compiling them here for those who are excited.
READ: Is Ford PH bringing 3.0 V6 turbodiesel powertrain for Ranger and Everest?
We already know that the Ranger and Everest will both be getting a new powertrain option. That’s a 3.0-liter turbodiesel V6 engine that produces 250 horsepower and 600Nm of torque, increases of 40 horsepower and 100Nm compared to the 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel that it could be replacing, and still mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission.

Now we know that Ford Philippines will also be bringing the updated version of its 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine (single turbo). This still makes 170 horsepower and 405Nm of torque as before, but will be getting a 10-speed automatic transmission instead of a six-speed automatic, and also gets a new timing chain which is supposed to improve reliability.
With the updated engines also comes an updated lineup. Probably still incomplete, available information does tell us that the 2027 Ford Ranger will be getting 2.0 Turbo 4×2, 2.0 Limited 4×4, 3.0 V6 Wildtrak 4×4, and 3.0 V6 Wildtrak-X 4×4 variants. Meanwhile, the 2027 Ford Everest will be getting new 2.0 Active 4×2 and 3.0 V6 Active 4×4 variants, and a 2.0 Wildtrak 4×4 variant.

Exact specifications and features for each, and the full variant lineup for both models are unavailable to us at the moment, but there are a couple of other stuff that we can expect, such as a flatter Ford emblem with white replacing chrome bits, along with updated alloy wheel designs, among others.
We don’t know when Ford Philippines plans to launch the 2027 Ford Ranger and Everest, but it should be soon given that information has already started coming out. All we can do for now is wait and see.
