Suzuki Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport gives the MPV some body kits and a spoiler

Multi-purpose vehicles or MPVs aren’t exactly the sportiest vehicles on the roads, especially with their main purpose being simply to haul a larger number of people than your typical sedans or small SUVs. Some car brands have tried, though, and the market has also responded well.
Suzuki Philippines is also trying to do something sporty as it announces the availability of the Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport, adding a few additional touches to the subcompact MPV’s exterior to give off a somewhat more road-going appearance.

Basically, the Suzuki Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport gets some body kits all around, along with a tailgate spoiler. Coming with these are also some Suzuki Sport badging. The two-tone 15-inch alloy wheels remain the same, and two exterior colors are available—Magma Gray Metallic and Snow White Pearl.

Mechanically, the Suzuki Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport keeps the same mild-hybrid powertrain that Suzuki markets as a hybrid. That’s a 1.5-liter K15B engine with a 12V mild hybrid system, making a humble 105 horsepower and 138Nm of torque, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.

As for its price, the Suzuki Ertiga GLX Hybrid Sport retails for Php 1,199,000, or an additional Php 21,000 compared to the standard Ertiga GLX (Php 1,178,000). Do you think the kits and spoiler are enough to make this a sporty MPV option?
