Mitsubishi Strada Athlete 4×4 gets blacked-out too

About a month ago, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC), announced the availability of the Xpander Black Series. Now, the aesthetic package makes its way to the brand’s pick-up truck offering with the Strada Athlete Black Series.

“The addition of the new Strada Jet Black Mica color option is our way of providing more choices for our customers. We believe that a vehicle is more than just a tool of transportation but a reflection of their characteristics. With this in mind, we are committed to provide alternatives that will best represent their personality and further enhance ownership experience,” said Mr. Takeshi Hara, President and CEO of MMPC.

Exclusively painted with a Jet Black Mica exterior color, the Strada Athlete Black Series projects a more tough and aggressive look to its already robust design. Complementing the new shade is a blacked out rear spoiler and front bumper. Inside, the orange leather seats also have black accents to blend with the theme.

Other than that, the Strada Athlete Black Series maintains many design elements from the standard Strada Athlete. These are the side decals that extend from the rear doors up to the tailgate. Black exterior design trimmings on the Dynamic Shield front grille, side mirror turn indicators, styling bar, and blacked-out 18-inch alloy wheels.

It also maintains features such as Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System (UMS), Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist (BSW with LCA), and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA), for additional safety.

The Mitsubishi Strada Athlete Black Series keeps its pricing the same with the standard Strada Athlete 4×4 at Php 1,764,000. It is now available at all Mitsubishi Motors dealerships nationwide.
