BYD Atto 2, Seal 5 DM-i reservations now opened in PH

We all know that the BYD Atto 2 and the heavily refreshed BYD Seal 5 DM-i are both coming to the Philippines soon. The former was first previewed at the 2026 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) and multiple legs of the BYD Tech Tour, while the latter has been teased on the brand’s social media pages.

Both models’ launches will be happening very soon, in fact. These will be held at the Trinoma Activity Center in Quezon City this coming July 28, 2026 (Tuesday). And if you’re interested in owning one of them, BYD Cars Philippines has announced that reservations have been officially opened.

As mentioned, the BYD Atto 2 was first previewed at the 2026 MIAS, and eventually at some legs of the BYD Tech Tour. As we’ve previously seen in available public information, BYD Cars Philippines has confirmed that their new entry-level crossover will come in three variants—EV Premium, DM-i Premium, and DM-i Dynamic. As for the BYD Seal 5 DM-i, BYD Cars Philippines has also confirmed what we speculated on. The updated version of its popular compact sedan will come in two variants—Essential and Dynamic. You can read more about what we can expect from the updated BYD Seal 5 DM-i here.

Other information has not yet been officially confirmed by BYD Cars Philippines, including pricing which they said will be announced at launch. We don’t have to wait too long to find out everything as the date is just two weeks from this writing.
