Chery Auto PH celebrates its 3rd anniversary with Tiggo owners

Chery Auto Philippines, under the distributorship of United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI) has reached another memorable milestone in its time in the Philippine automotive scene, this time, it’s the brand’s 3rd year anniversary in the market.
The company spent its 3rd year anniversary celebrations by going on a drive together with several members of the local Chery Tiggo owners club, as well as select members of motoring media and content creators.
After a quick meet-up, the drive took off from the Caltex service station along the South Luzon Expressway near Mamplasan Exit, where the participants gathered and took impromptu photos of the cars assembled on the parking lot. The group then proceeded to the final destination, Ayala Greenfield Golf and Leisure Club in Calamba, Laguna.
“It’s a pleasure and a privilege to be able to bond with our Chery Tiggo customers this way, to see them driving and enjoying their cars on a fun drive like this—they are family to us,” said Erroll Dueñas, President of Chery Auto Philippines and UAAGI. “It is gratifying to see long lines of various Chery Tiggo models parked side by side with the majestic Mount Makiling in the background,” he added.
The full range of Chery Tiggo models were represented in the drive, from the smallest Tiggo 2 Pro, the Tiggo 5X, then the larger Tiggo 7 Pro, all the way to the Tiggo 8 and Tiggo 8 Pro which is the brand’s largest offering in the market. There was even a unit of a Chery QQ which made the brand popular back when it first came in the market under its previous distributor in 2007.
“At three years old, Chery is still a relatively young brand in the Philippines, but we are heartened and inspired by the enthusiasm we saw from the Chery Tiggo Club members, which makes us even more determined to further grow the brand and its following in the many years to come,” declared Dueñas. “The future of Chery in the Philippines is indeed very exciting,” he added.
