GAC PH is the newest member of CAMPI

The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) is the largest organization of car brands in the local automotive industry, accounting for 95% of the market. Recently, it welcomed yet another new member.
GAC International Philippines, a subsidiary of GAC Motor of China, has joined CAMPI as the organization’s 29th member. This comes months after the GAC brand was relaunched in the Philippines from being distributed by the now defunct Astara Philippines, to operating as a direct subsidiary.
“Joining CAMPI is a significant honor and a pivotal chapter for our operations. We are eager to leverage this partnership to accelerate our growth in the Philippine market. As we continue re-consolidating our presence in the country, this membership underscores our deep-rooted commitment to providing Filipinos with world-class engineering and a comprehensive, future-ready automotive experience,” said GAC International Senior Vice President Steven Wang.

GAC International Philippines is the second automotive company to join CAMPI this year, following GWM Philippines in May 2026. Its establishment earlier this year merged the operations of the main GAC Motor brand, along with the Aion and Hyptec brands.
As of this writing, member car brands of CAMPI are BAIC, BMW, Changan, Chery, Ferrari, Ford, GAC, Geely, GWM, Honda, Hongqi, Hyundai, Isuzu, Jaguar & Land Rover, Jetour, Kia, Lexus, Lynk & Co, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda and Jaecoo, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, and VinFast.
