Hyundai Motor Philippines, Inc. (HMPH) has a lot of reasons to celebrate. Over two years since switching from having a local distributor to becoming a direct subsidiary, the Korean automaker continues to see growth in our market.

HMPH recently held a thanksgiving lunch for the local motoring media and content creator community, where they announced their achievements for the previous year, as well as their plans for this year.

In 2024, HMPH was able to sell a total of 12,023 units, an increase of 32% compared to their total vehicle sales in 2023.

Their lineup was also updated and expanded with the introduction of the all-new Santa Fe, along with a handful of interesting model variants to spice things up—the Tucson Hybrid and Santa Fe Hybrid, and the high-performance Ioniq 5 N and Elantra N

The company promises several model launches for 2025 which we think will include the heavily-revised Creta, and hopefully the fully-electric Inster small crossover and all-new Palisade.

Which of these new models would you like to see launched here?

HMPH also expanded their reach with new dealerships opened bringing their total to 36. They plan to increase this further to 45 before the year ends.

2025 surely sounds exciting for Hyundai in the Philippines with a lot to look forward to. All we can do for now is wait and see.
