2024 Mazda CX-3 quietly enters PH for Php 1.510M

In case you forgot about the existence of the Mazda CX-3 (and Mazda2), I don’t blame you. The current generations of the two models have been part of the Japanese automaker’s lineup in the Philippines for quite some time now. They really aren’t forgotten though as they just received some updates.

Mazda Philippines, under the distributorship of Bermaz Auto Philippines, Inc. (BAP), has quietly introduced updated versions of their smallest and oldest models in order to keep them fresh, especially with all their other models having already received completely new generations.

You may have to take a second look to see what exactly is new with the refreshed Mazda CX-3. On the outside, it rides on a new set of 18-inch gunmetal alloy wheels, and that’s it. The rest of its exterior remains the same as the pre-refresh version, but we do get a new Aero Gray exterior color option.

That’s in addition to other exterior color options which are Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Snowflake White Pearl, Polymetal Gray, Platinum Quartz, and Jet Black.

The interior also remains largely unchanged with a few differences here and there. New is a 10-way power adjustable driver seat, a wireless phone charger, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Still powering the refreshed 2024 Mazda CX-3 is a 2.0-liter Inline 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated SkyActiv-G gasoline engine that produces 150 horsepower and 195 Nm of torque, mated to a SkyActiv-Drive 6-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of safety, it gets blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert from Mazda’s i-Activsense suite of advanced driver assist systems.

It’s good to note that the refreshed 2024 Mazda CX-3 is now only available in one variant, the Sport. The Activ variant has been discontinued. With that, it remains priced at Php 1,510,000 as before.
