Honda Cars PH says supply of HR-V units now stable
Were you eyeing to purchase a brand-new Honda HR-V last year but were not able to get one because of the super long lines caused by supply issues? Well maybe now is your chance.
Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) has announced that supply of units of its subcompact crossover entry have normalized and is now stable. This means that if you are still planning to or are currently looking at purchasing a brand new HR-V soon, you won’t have to wait long to get your new vehicle.
Over the course of the pandemic, with parts manufacturing slowing down, other industries such as automotive manufacturing were heavily affected with assembly lines shutting down for days to weeks to months. This happened despite demand for vehicles continuing to grow, in turn causing the lack of vehicles to sell.
HCPI also says that pricing for the Honda HR-V lineup hasn’t changed. The entry-level 1.5 S CVT still starts at Php 1,389,000, followed by the mid-spec 1.5 V Turbo CVT at Php 1,649,000, and finally the top-spec 1.5 RS Turbo CVT at Php 1,739,000. Do note however that pricing for the first two variants have already increased compared to when the current generation was first launched.
