Ford PH sold more than 30k vehicles in 2023

2 min read

Ford Philippines is starting the year strong as it announces that it closed the previous year with over 30,000 new vehicles sold in the market.

The blue oval sold a total of 31,320 from January to December 2023, a growth of 27-percent led by its ever bestselling trio—the Ranger and Everest pickup truck and SUV siblings, and Territory compact crossover.

The Ranger was Ford’s bestselling model in the Philippine market last year with 13,224 units sold. That’s 16-percent more than in 2022. It also maintained its title of the bestselling 4×4 pickup truck in the market, mainly thanks to its Ranger Raptor performance version which arrived in May 2023.

This is followed by the popular Territory compact crossover which saw 9,119 units sold over the year, keeping its title as the bestselling model in its segment, with a 44-percent market share. The second generation of the model (third of the nameplate) was introduced during last year’s Manila International Auto Show held in April.

That is closely followed by the Ranger’s midsize SUV sibling, the Everest, which found 8,569 new homes. That translates to a sales growth of 142-percent compared to the previous year.

We are immensely proud of this huge accomplishment that solidified our position in the industry amid a very dynamic, challenging and competitive environment,” shares Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen. “We thank our customers, dealers, employees, communities and partners for their continued trust, support, and collaboration. We remain committed to bringing our segment-leading vehicles, innovative services, and impactful customer experiences to the Filipino motoring public.”

We won’t be surprised if Ford’s local models continue to be successful next year. The company is already confirmed to be introducing the much-awaited Bronco this year, albeit with no specified launch date yet.
