Mazda Philippines, under the distributorship of Bermaz Auto Philippines, Inc., just very recently introduced the refreshed version of the MX-5 two-door roadster. With seven variants available, the most affordable one is also the most unique one with just 23 units to be made available. That’s the Mazda MX-5 Miata Cup 23rd Anniversary Edition.

Priced at Php 2,230,000, again the most affordable in the refreshed MX-5 lineup, this limited special edition MX-5 was developed by Mazda Japan specifically for the Philippine market and commemorates the motorsports heritage of the iconic nameplate, as well as the 23rd anniversary of the Miata Cup by the Miata Club of the Philippines (MCP).

Based on the new 2024 MX-5 2.0 M/T Black Top Black Leather variant, the MX-5 Miata Cup 23rd Anniversary Edition wears bespoke racing liveries designed by local artist Jaykee Evangelista, and is inspired by classic motorsports liveries.

19 of these units will be painted in an Aero Gray base color which is a new MX-5 exterior color option. Two each will have Snowflake White Pearl and Deep Crystal Blue as base colors. Also common to all are orange side mirror caps and orange “MAZDA” decals.

Again, the Mazda MX-5 Miata Cup 23rd Anniversary Edition is currently the most affordable in the local variant lineup, priced at Php 2,230,000, with only 23 units to be made available, making it as exclusive as it gets.
